Is anyone around here clever enough to tell me if I am able to take the RSS feed from my blogger account and plug it into the blog function on here?
I've managed to shove it into the the side bar on my home page but I'd rather have it in the more prominent page in the middle.
I tried to do something with CSS.
The thing is you can modify the CSS file,
but you can't modify the html.
so you can't change the positions of the modules in a clean way
The right way to do it its changing the
tags in the html file and the size with CSS.
I guess...
I left the modification so you can see it, but its not operative so
I will change it later.
Hey Elliot sorry i haven't emailed you back, i'm sure i can fix it, but am working really hard on a uni project at the moment that's due in tomorrow.
When i get back from uni tomorrow hopefully i'll have it sorted.
For the mean time, the code i sent you derived from the rss widget you used previously, and it may not be updating because you deleted it. I have an idea though, but can't attempt till tomorrow.
Ok, as i promised i had a look further in this (i'll do anything to put off doing the work i'm supposed to be doing), and tried tonnes of codes and possibilities, and have nailed it down to two options at the moment.
Both aren't perfect, but get the job done, made a little page with what to do, it's pretty layman's, i know most people here know tonnes of the industry standard software and will find it a joke, but if you don't it should have you covered.
If i find any further possibilities on this later on i'll post, but hopefully this will satisfy for the time being.
Have you tried Spring Widgets? I have it on my RAW page, and it's linked to my Blogger site. SW is basically a giant window into your website. SW may not be what you are looking for, but it could be a good alternative.
