Okay, so this may sound like a ridiculous question (because it is), but what's your favorite food when settling in to watch a batch of cartoons? Looking back, I wish I had stock in Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries when I was a kid. Back then, it was all about cereal and sitting a foot away from the Philco. (Don't get me started on the sugary, milky nectar left over once the cereal's gone.) So what's your poison? Chips? Popcorn? Spring roll? As for me, I'm still all about the Cap'n. Sugar rush and the roof of your mouth gets shred to tatters. Perfect.

Pancakes. Definitely pancakes. Or prunes...depending on the time of day.

Lucky Charms! But not the real kind - the giant horse-feed sized bags of off-brand marshmallow cereal! OR a big bowl of jelly beans, peanuts, and candy corn all mixed together. I don't have the constitution for it in my adult life... but as a kid, my cast-iron gullet could handle it by the 10's of pounds.

Foster's Beer from Australia. It's extra foamy and carbonated so you can watch stuff gush out of your friend's noses while they're laughing at the toons.

As I kid I remember making my own (pretty disgusting) cinnamon toast (consisting of toast, butter, and a truckload of cinnamon dumped on it)...I was quite the chef! I also loved (not necessarily in this order) Cherry or Brown Sugar Pop-Tarts, Fruity Pebbles, Salami, Cheese, & Crackers , or French Bread Pizzas! Chase that down with a Coke, and I was out of control. Now, unfortunately my stomach can't handle all of that anymore without severe consequences...the mind stays put at 6 yrs old while the body slowly decays!

Ha! I made the same horrible toast concoction, but wasn't tall enough to reach the toaster... it was butter/sugar/cinnamon bread in the microwave. I think crappy food and cartoons have a lovely relationship.

Although, I do save beer for Adult Swim.

As a kid, it was definitely crunch-berries. Nowadays, it's a good beer with big fatty beer-pretzels and my Looney-Tunes box sets.

Oh yeah, Cap'n Crunch and Quisp do it for me. Peanutbutter and Strawberry jam sandwiches do it for me too.

Cold pizza. Always a winner.

When I was a kid, it was Space Food Sticks (anyone else here remember those?) Nowadays, whatever's within arm's reach.

Space food sticks? Like, freeze-dried astronaut stuff?

Not exactly. They were kinda tootsie-roll-like, but softer and about four inches long. Came in caramel, chocolate, malt, mint, orange and peanut butter. The big selling point was that they were just like the food going to the moon with the Apollo missions. And with that, I've just dated myself... :0)

Sounds revolting. I used to work in an Aviation museum and we sold space food... like freeze dried ice cream sandwiches and dehydrated pizzas. Space pizza has the texture of cardboard and tastes like wood varnish. Poor astronauts.
