Channel Frederator RAW

Last night I was flicking through the channels on my TV and came across a cartoon called 'Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo'. It was probably the most bizarre cartoon I've ever seen in my life, complete with 'snot fu' fighting nosehairs.

How do these things get pitched? Do the put some toxic air freshener in the room, or leave the lid off a permanent marker to get the network executives high before they sign on the dotted line? It was so bad, I couldn't switch it off, and when I did, despite all my efforts, I was drawn back to it.

As well as just approving this show, how did the writers get the idea in the first place? Did they eat 'special' cakes before they put pen to paper?

What are YOUR suggestions for the most bizarre cartoons?

This one used to be ( and maybe still is?) on Toonami on CN and It would always follow Justice League and I laughed everytime I heard the announcer say "up next is Bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo etc." However, yeah, I didn't really get this one either.

I was reminded of a bizarre show recently because of that saturday morning cartoon thread. Bump In The Night was about a green monster who lived under a kid's bed and ate his socks. It was all stop-motion and actually pretty good. There's some clips up on YouTube. It holds up okay after having not seen it in about ten years.
