Audio Engineering

I know a number of visitors to this site have a background in audio recording/engineering or some knowledge of the industry available. I have a friend wanting to enter the field and I would like your advice on school choice. From a hiring perspective, which names do you trust?

Permalink Reply by Warren Williams on August 2, 2009 at 7:17am: im an audio engineer.. unemployed and looking for work. or heck.. even an internship. :( damn this economy. but anyways.. i went to IAR (Institute of Audio Research).. its a good school and well known. its in the heart of NYC. i believe they raised tuition last year.. its about $15000 now.; ▶ Reply to This
