I'm currently a student at Kent State, Ohio. Denny's going here, too, which is awesome! I've been learning animation from him with some friends. I'm trying at least.
Anyway... besides animating I've also been wanting to do comics. As I've said before I'm still a student. So I'm wondering if I should really work on it in hopes of getting it submitted for publishing while I'm still at school? I'm worried that I wouldn't make a deadline or some other horrible thing unless I could round up a team. Otherwise I would take forever to get things done.
Which brings up the second question. If I could find a group of charitable individuals, could I try to have a mini workshop or something to make small publications/shows in our spare time? There may not be many financial rewards involved, but would it look good in a portfolio?
Finally, if I were to get these goals accomplished, where are the best places to send these in for review/publishing potential?
I probably made a big idiot out of myself, but I tried. ^_^'
