Well, I've been using Adobe photoshop since I started drawing, but I'd like to try using Illustrator for more natural looking art. I have been practicing with my tablet and want to use either flash or some other application to create vector drawings so they don't take up as much space on my hard drive.
As for traditional art, I usually use charcoal because it's more aesthetically pleasing than ordinary pencils or grease pens. I've never colored something with prismacolor, but I'd like to pick up some of the markers that groups like Clamp use to color their works.
Im a huge fan of colored pencils. I find that most artists I know dont like colored pencils so much. As generic as it sounds, my favorite brand is Crayola. The color is intense. I usually draw so dark and hard that ive been asked if some of my colored pencil works are paintings (when viewed at a bit of a distance). I have always been able to control graphite and graphite mixed with charcoal very well, so moving into colored pencils was very easy for me.
But after colored pencils, my favorite medium is 1s and 0s :-D. Digital art FTW.
I mostly work in pen & ink and Photoshop, but I enjoy a wide variety of traditional mediums. As for what I wish I was better at... everything! I'm never really satisfied with anything I create.
Well, depending of the work, I prefer the Prismacolor pencils, ink and watercolor. But, generally y draw in Flash. I think the medium depends of the message that it wants to be transmitted.
My favorite medium is found art - magazine clippings, old photographs, homemade paper - and then put all together for a collage or a sculpture.
Second favorite is clay. I just love to get in there and get my hands dirty.
