CS3 (PC version) on Macs

I'm currently a PC user but I'm get a Mac soon. I currently work with CS3 and just wondering if any of you are running the PC version on the Mac without any issues?

You would need the Mac version of the software. Did you purchase a hard copy of your CS3 software? If not, and it's a digital download that you just activated with a key, you might consider contacting Adobe consumer support.

I got the hard copy and since now I'm getting a Mac I thought I could save some money and not re purchase the software. Apparently Macs can now run most PC software I've been told, just wondering if there were any issues with CS3. Alternatively I'll just get the new Toonboom Animate
