STATEMENT

PINK SLIP Animation was started by Carol Wyatt and a group of veteran animators looking to make projects that the may not get made in a large studio. Because of the current economy, we are able to take risks that the studios are not licensed to take. We are making our own work rather than waiting for it to come to us.

With a large group of motivated animators, we are able to complete projects and put them out on the web and festival circuit.
Executives are able to see a more finished project, and animators are able to see their project through the way they originally intended.
We offer critiques, promotion, support, and connections.
There are no requirements to remain in the group. It is up to the individual to put in what they want to put in and take out what they need from the group. The goal is to help each other achieve professional goals.

Yes! We plan on making an income. Hopefully soon.....
In the long term we plan on turning this into an artists for artists studio similar to United Artists, for animators.
To create a studio environment where creativity and risk taking are the key to success and artists retain the rights to their properties.

While we don't want to turn anyone away, we need small influxes of income to cover basic costs. Everything is being donated by members right now.

The consensus is:
A yearly fee for membership
With different levels depending on what you want to get from the group.
