22 years in Animation as an Art Director, Development Designer, Painter, and Colorist.
23 years as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer.

Currently looking for full time animation work.
I have started a film Coop for Animators, Artists, Actors, Writers, and Designers at:
pinkslipanimation.blogspot.com
Originally from Louisville, KY. I moved to LA in 1987 to go to college at Otis/Parsons.
After graduating with a BFA in Communication Design, I started an Illustration business doing editorial and commercial illustration. A friend called me to tell me they needed a cell painter on a Saturday Morning Cartoon, and I jumped at the chance to see what animation was all about.
Quickly, I worked my way through every job in animation and learned as much as I could about film. Some of my most educational experiences came while I worked on the first 4 seasons of The Simpsons with Wes Archer, David Silverman, Brad Bird, and Rich Moore.
Because I was an illustrator and graphic designer, I was asked to work on projects ranging from title sequences, music videos, commercials, features, and TV series.
Over the last 22 years in animation, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented animators and designers in the business, including: Conrad Vernon, Jim Reardon, Steve Hillenberg, Mike Moon, Craig McCracken, Vince Waller, Howy Parkins, Alan Smart, Nancy Kruse, Joe Murray and on and on....
Favorite Cartoons:

Favorite Films:
Too many to mention:
