Having been a storyboard artist in NYC for MTV, Curious, 4Kids and Scholastic Media, I've recently relocated to Woodland Hills seeking
career opportunities with the major animation studios. Moving to the
land of palm trees and sandals has always been a personal dream of mine
and I'm happy to say I've made a lot of friends and contacts so far.
Animation is my fourth career incarnation. Graduating from Hofstra University with a degree in journalism, I've been a professional opera singer, teacher on ancient history and personal trainer. While taking classes at SVA, I sustained an injury at the health club. My teacher at SVA told me when I was done with the rehab to call him because he had contacts at MTV Animation.
My first job was working on DARIA and I've never looked back. I've always had a talent for drawing, so I guess you could say I've come full circle.
Favorite Cartoons:
Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Jetsons, Simpsons, Dexter's Lab, Beavis & Butthead, Daria, Turtles and hands down the Looney Tunes. My favorite character, in addition to that wackscally wabbitt, is Foghorn Leghorn.
Any of this getting through that blue bonnet of yours, darlin'?
Favorite Films:
The majority of the action/drama classics from the AMC/TCM vault.
Also Star Wars, ET, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, King Kong etc..
