Hey! Thanks for the very kind lines you dropped!

Good to know our people is out there putting out some awesome work like yours. You VFS film is one of my favourites, by the way. True story. Lovely lovely stuff. Keep it up, and if you ever bump into Kevin Hinkel over there in Portland, give him a big hug.

Yo,

Thanks for the comment. Your demo reel knocked my socks off. It's refreshing to see a Flash animator with such good hand drawn skills. Keep up the good work!

Hi Temris,
Good to hear from you! I heard from Cody that he met you on the train. Small world -- but that's Portland for you. Feel free to drop me know when you get to town. By the way, if you're ever in Vancouver the last Saturday of the month, you should really drop by the Vancouver Comic Jam. You'll probably run into some fellow VFS grads.
Cheers,

Hey Temris! I added you to my list-o-friends. I'm making about as much money as I can to stay warm and fed so I've got nothing to complain about. As for fancy cars, I have a limo called the number 6 bus that takes me where I need to go :D

Hey Temris,
I wrote this in a discussion, but your animation reel is great. I spent some time in Portland at the now mostly defunct Flying Rhino studio. It was mostly a bunch of ex-Will Vinton folks, and fun for a year or so. It's definitely a cool place to live. I lived in B'ham for thee years too, and I would take Portland. What about Vancouver?
Anyway, great stuff, I don't think you'll have any trouble finding something.

Hey, Temris! Love your animation pieces you have there (though I admit they're a little bit too cutesy for taste but don't mind about my thoughts though). Hope to see more, this time perhaps with a far more compelling storyline!

Thanks for the add/invite Temris. I'm from Seattle, and started out doing animation there. Where are you working right now?

About Me:
I've always loved to draw and write, so the animation biz just seemed to call for me. I've taken from all sorts of places for inspiration from the freebox at the local comic store to anime to live action movies. My healthy movie collection is about 50% animation, although it would be more but my husband also has a say on our library additions. I'm a total geek and love video games and fantasy stuff.
Favorite Cartoons:
I love all sorts of styles, but there are a few shows that get me more excited than others. A few examples (not in any order): Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Spongebob Squarepants, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory, and recently added onto this list, Chowder.
Favorite Comics:
There's only a handful of series I've read, but I'm a big fan of Maus, Persepolis, Akira, Gen 13, Spawn, and The Maxx.
Favorite Books:
Anything by Raymond Feist, Robin Hobb, and Orson Scott Card.
Favorite Artists or Illustrators:
I have too many favorites to name. I look up to any artists that truly has passion for his or her work!
Favorite Robots:
Alfonse Elrik! ... well, he's not really a robot he's a suit of armor with a human soul attached to it... Close enough, right?
