Gomu-Gomu no Cosplay!

Yup, so this year for halloween I'm goin' all out. I'm gonna be... Monkey D. Luffy, captain of the strawhat pirates and hero of One Piece! Yeah, so this makes me look like a total nerd compared to my other friends who are dressing up (as Spiderman, a Ninja, Power Ranger etc), but I don't care. It look awesome, all the preparations are complete- I've even gone and dyed my hair black! I think it looks nice, so I'm probably gonna keep it this way. It's not a terrible gothy black, but more of a really dark brown/black. The vest looks sweet, the sandals are set, and the strawhat was a bitch to make. Halloween, here I come! So, who else is dressing up? I'm getting a lot of flack that I'm too old to be dressing up (almost 18), so I want to know who else will be. Have a happy and safe halloween! Cheers~ Ventastique

I'm going as a nerd... Part nerd... Part Scarface. I call it... Nerdface... It's a Scarface outfit but with nerdiness built into it. Theres the pocket protector, the greasy hair, the broken glasses, pants up too high, geeky tie, and the best part, a ruler as 'the Little friend'. I thought of it on the fly, at a costume store. The suit only cost 10 bucks, and is great. (My parents have joked that it will be prom suit, special occasion suit, and unfortunatly, what I'll be buried in, that's how great it fits.... :(. My parents can be so cruel... But yeah, I'm getting flak to. (Past the 15 year mark.)

Now I'm considering a Bon-Clay outfit and a trip to West Hollywood (that might get me in trouble). As for that last bit, you're never too old to have fun... especially if you paint violet highlights on yourself for gear-second.
