Channel Frederator RAW

I have never understood why some people feel the need to add everyone as their friend on these sites. There seems to be some sort of competition to see who has the highest number of friends on their account. As though at the end of the day they can say "HA! I am more popular on a website than you are! That means that all of my opinions are right and that you are an unwashed parasite!"

My understanding was that these sorts of sites were to keep in touch with friends and meet new people with similar interests. Meeting new people is fun. Meeting 500 new people is a stop on a campaign trail.

Please, at least humour me enough to pretend to show an interest in me, my sketches or at least some shared interests. Having to deny friend requests makes me feel like an elitist ass. And I don't draw well enough that I can get away with that kind of an attitude.

I think the reason is because its a fact of humanity that people want to feel important. Whether they are or not, they want to feel like theyre on top.
