Hi thar!

Just trying to break out of my little shell a tad...

Lately I've been thinking a lot about more than just American animation versus foreign animation, namely anime. After having to put up with some of my coworkers to the point I want to quit my much needed job and other things; I have considered why my state of Ohio is so screwed as it is. Most Ohioans are lazy and just lack the ambition to do anything with themselves. I'm sure it's elsewhere, though. Aside from lazies work, I was almost hit by someone with ants in their pants (where pedestrians have the right-of-way, it's in the driver's law digest). I heard her scream some choice words at me. Actually, a similar incident just happened coming back from class! I'm in the middle of the road and the person just tries to speed by in front of me (I could have ran a finger along the car it was so close) because the person waiting on the other side went.

One cannot just walk into Mordor I guess...

I feel like I want to get away at least for a weekend, but I also lack $... Dunno...

Anyways, at my college we have an Anime Society. A few of the members draw, some well, some not... We were going to start a webcomic, but that never happened. A few others want to get into animation, but the prorgram her is more engineering oriented.

There is one thing about most Japanese animation over some of the shows on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon. (Sorry if I offend anyone) But most of the shows like rather plain or rushed. I grew up on Doug and Rugrats, and I wish they could bring that back. Japanese animation has more belief to the character design and such, even though very few anime could ever happen. It seems like anime lets people get involved with the characters and the environment. Even though some are as confusing as hell...!

Ok, enough of that... I'm getting a small hang on animation. However, I know I still have a long ways to go... To think I can do character animation better than a bouncing ball... You just might see it if anyone knows of my tutor's website (Denny). The balls are bad...

Never been much of a blogger, but now is always a great time to get started. If it seems like I do nothing but complain, someone please tell me... Please... I feel like I do it too much...
